·         Vision 21
o   Community give-back day was held November 7th. The projects the students worked on this year were as follows:
§  Raking leaves in people’s yards around town and at the park below the school, winterizing and cleaning up the baseball and football fields, baking cookies for local businesses, weeding and cleaning the flower boxes downtown, roadside trash pick-up, sweeping out the bus barn,  mopping the Fire Hall and cleaning around the North side of the shop area.

§  In spite of the lousy weather, a great afternoon of work by the students and staff. I would like to commend the staff on being so flexible and making it work for the students as some of the jobs changed because of the weather. I would like to commend the students for coming to school prepared for the weather and digging in to help make a difference in the community.
