First
day of school activity was very successful. The team building activity involved
the i2i Assembly with Teri Riberich from IDFY.
We had the assembly after lunch and it lasted the rest of the afternoon.
Great team building and questions asked of students and staff. Everyone
participated fully and it was a great way to start the year.
o
Day
2 involved technology and the teachers split up and went over the key elements
of our technology program with the student laptops. After that, students were
split into their new color group and went through 8 different stations for 35
minutes each, covering a specific area or skill we want the student to know and
have to be able to use their new laptops effectively. The topic areas included Lumen access, Google
access including email, calendar and Google Keep, Use of the stylus, Where to
save and upload and download files, and troubleshooting. The rollout went very
well, and we’ve only had one machine and stylus quit on us so far.
