Academics
o
The
Sophomores went to the UI Library last week as part of their research project
in English. Students research materials ahead of time, then actually learn how
to use the library and find where to access the information they looked for
over the computer.
o
The
senior projects class is working on their projects, and will start to present
in April. I will present a complete list of senior projects in April.
o
The
second round or D/F progress reports went out this week. We will be inviting
and scheduling conferences with parents for the end of the month.
o
UI
Higher Ed day was Monday, March 18, and the Juniors will be attending as part
of the Careers class.
o
Parent
Conferences will be held in the evenings on March 27 and March 28.

Activities
o

BPA students were at the BPA state conference this past weekend, with several
qualifying for nationals.
o
Genesee
Jazz Experience Concert with the Univ. of Idaho was held in Moscow on Monday,
February 25 at 7pm, and was very successful. Sincere appreciation goes out to
Latah County Arts and cultural committee. The event was better attended this
year, and holding the event at the UI Music Building is a real treat for our
students.
o
School-wide
Book fair was held last week.

Athletics
o
Congratulations
to the Girls Basketball team 1A D1 Academic Champions 3.853 team GPA!
o
Boys
Bball claimed 3rd in the state tournament!
o
JH
Bball games began on March 4 and 5, for girls and boys respectively, and will
run through the end of the month.
o
The
Baseball team for this season was canceled due to lack of interest. We only had
7 students committed to playing.
o
We
have 15 girls out for Softball.
o
We
have 5 students (5 boys) participating in the track co-op with Moscow.

Vision

o
After
Spring Break we will begin planning on the end of the year fun run.
