Secondary Report June 2011
· Academics
o The final grade reports went out June 9th, along with registration materials.
o There were only 5 students who failed courses this spring, which is down from last semester.
o IEN origination teachers have completed half of their training for next year.
o IEN Courses that hopefully will be available next year.

· Activities
o There were 7 students accepted to the Genesee Chapter of the National Honor Society on May 24.
o FFA students competed in events in Moscow this week.
· Athletics
o R. T. placed 4th in 1A shot put at the state track meet.
o The softball team placed 2nd in the state tournament.
o The Baseball team placed 2nd on the state baseball tournament,
o Genesee will receive an Exemplary award for the Schools of Excellence Program at the Annual meeting of the IHSAA in August. Since 2006-07 school year Genesee High School has received the Schools of Excellence award or the Exemplary award in 4 of the last 5 years. Schools of Excellence in 07, 08 and exemplary in 10 and 11.
