process more this year to take less time out of the classroom, we’ll see how it

Health class finished up their Healthy Meals presentations on March 18th. Three of the meals were submitted to the
Kitchen for consideration as lunches.

The
AG classes have had guest speakers from PNW this semester speaking on different
topics relating to the world of agriculture. PNW is also hosting an Ag Tour of
the PNW facilities on April 14th.
o
PRIDE
Assembly was held March 26th with students wearing the new pride
shirts. We will have one day in April
and may where the whole school can wear their pride shirts to school. April 24
and May 15.
o
Rec.
District update
o
Fencing
has been started and will be completed within the next month on the softball
and little league fields. The backstops will be completed by Lucky Acres as
well.
o
Sand
is going to be spread over outfield and prepped for sod installation-hopefully
this weekend. Atlas Sand & Rock has been working to help us with the sand
delivery at a competitive price.
o
The
sod has been ordered from Desert Green Turf and will be installed the week of
April 15th. Weather permitting of course.
o
A
soil sample has been sent to the lab to learn the right mixture of soils, sand
and infield conditioner. Once results are back the other materials will be
ordered for the infield.
o
We
hope to have the fields ready for practice by the end of April.
